• Manage and develop a small team of engineers, including regular 1:1s, feedback, performance follow-up, mentoring, hiring, and onboarding.

Описание: We are hiring a Lead Engineer to join our Robotics – New Product Development - team, leading a small group of engineers working across electronics, firmware, and mechanics. You will take technical ownership of key sub-systems, review designs, support technical decisions, and follow the development from concept through to production. The role is primarily technical, combined with people responsibility for a growing engineering team. You will plan and coordinate the team’s work, follow up on project milestones and technical deliverables, and support the development of the engineers in your team.

8+ years of engineering experience in product development, ideally with a background in firmware, and experience leading engineers or technical teams. Strong technical understanding across electronics, firmware, and mechanical systems, with the ability to review designs, provide technical feedback, and make engineering trade-offs. Experience developing physical products for serial or high-volume production, from development and testing through industrialisation and production. Experience with project execution and engineering planning, including resource allocation, prioritisation, milestones, and Agile ways of working. Solid people and communication skills, with experience mentoring engineers and working across engineering, product, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
