Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. seeks an engineer to perform regulatory/licensing support for the nuclear fleet. You will provide analysis, licensing material development, and apply industry codes and Constellation licensing processes.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of professional experience; EIT/SRO and advanced degrees are preferred. This full-time role may involve outage support and regulatory tasks.

  • Perform regulatory and technical tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Support outage activities and emergency response as needed.

Expected salary range of $95,400 to $106,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Performs regulatory/licensing/technical problem solving and provides analysis/insights in support of department, nuclear plant and fleet regulatory activities. Provides support for regulatory/technical decisions and licensing material development. Possesses knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations as well as Constellation licensing and regulatory processes.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Assure all regulatory products prepared are in accordance with applicable procedures, licensing basis, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.
  • Perform regulatory and technical tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training Certification
  • Previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license/certification degree
  • Advanced technical degree or related
