Slate in Troy, MI is seeking an Engineer to validate propulsion system diagnostic software. You will develop test cases across ECU modules, work with software, electrical and propulsion teams to integrate units, and draft DFMEAs and validation plans.

You’ll write scripts in C, C++, and Python, analyze data, and contribute to an Agile software process to ensure robust validation and reliable diagnostics across the vehicle architecture.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in software controls, system validation, test design, or related roles.
• Experience with LIN, CANoe, CANalyzer, ALM, Git, Jira, Linux, C, C++, and Python.
