Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Enterprise Performance organization in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Staff, Engineering Program Planner to support Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) programs. You will develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and interface with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management to reflect contractual scope and resources.

You will perform critical path analyses, manage IMS/IMP integration, generate reports, and present schedule data to customers.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of relevant work experience in planning, scheduling or manufacturing.
• Proven ability in utilizing MS Project or another comparable scheduling tool
• Experience as an Engineering Planner or related discipline as related engineering metrics and engineering look-ahead reports
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience briefing internal and external customers on complex issues
• Due to programs being supported, United States citizenship is required and must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) including ensuring integration between the IMS and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP).
• Maintain schedule integration between the IMS and the Program Summary Master Scheduler and supplemental schedules.
• Perform critical path and schedule risk analyses.
• Work closely with Engineering organization to maintain engineering execution plans.
• Provide status, and update/maintain metrics for reporting.
• Provide planning support to Production Operations and Master Program Scheduler as part of monthly management rhythms. Ensure Schedule Accuracy.
• Perform schedule integrity checks.
• Generate and deliver IMS reports and metrics.
• Present schedule-related information to internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with LM Corporate Program Performance Management and Program Planning policies and practices.
• Support all phases of the proposal through submittal to include SOW, CWBS, and IMP traces to tasks.

Enterprise Performance organization seeks an Staff, Engineering Program Planner

to join our mission in Huntsville, AL or Denver, CO supporting Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Programs. In this role you will support the execution efforts across multiple sites and other SMD programs as required. For your assigned component, you will interface with Engineering, Business Operations, and Program Management. You will also be responsible for developing compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) which will reflect the accurate and detailed contractual scope and resources to execute the program efforts.

Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts. Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Benefits offered:

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
