This position requires a valid engineering license, prior project engineering experience, supervision

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware Professional Engineering License or equivalent from another U.S. state or Canadian province.
• Six months experience as a project engineer managing engineering programs and projects in civil, construction, or environmental engineering.
• Knowledge of staff supervision through coursework, academic training, or hands-on experience overseeing others.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee application of maintenance of traffic standards to construction projects in Delaware.
• Coordinate detours, transportation management plans, and work zone safety.
• Manage traffic safety programs and related regulatory programs, including OSOW and guardrail analysis.
