Micron Semiconductor Products, Inc. is looking for a candidate to work in Micron’s Compute and Networking Business Unit to define product architectures for Micron's memory solutions and solve real-world challenges for data centers, client systems, and graphics platforms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, from design to manufacturing, to transform architectural concepts into tangible products.
  2. Build strong technical relationships with other system architects and key technologists in the industry and represent Micron at industry conferences and events.
  3. Develop a strong understanding of the solution space, including fabrication processes, system topologies, interconnects, and protocols.
  4. Understand customer requirements, problems to be solved, and optimization points, ensuring successful design-in of new solutions with close collaboration with end customers.
  5. Create, document, and present product specifications supporting customer use cases for new technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  2. Solid State Device & Physics, Computer Systems Organization, MOS VLSI Circuit Design, Devices for AI Machine Learning, and Electrochemistry.
  3. Hardware and software programming skills, including Python, Verilog, and simulation tools, including SPICE.
  4. Hardware design and development.
  5. Memory Technologies, including DRAM, SRAM, Flash, emerging non-volatile memories like PCM, ReRAM, MRAM, and their operation, advantages, limitations, and application use cases.
  6. Digital Circuit Design, including digital design principles and practices, logic design, design tools and languages, including Verilog or VHDL.
  7. Computer Architecture, including memory-CPU integration, memory hierarchy, and cache design.
  8. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools used for semiconductor design and simulation, including Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.
  9. Manufacturing Processes, including lithography, etching, ion implantation, and metallization.
  10. Using data analysis tools and techniques to model and simulate memory circuits and systems, including MATLAB, Python, or similar tools.

The US base salary range that Micron Semiconductor Products, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $178,006.00 - $180,500. For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
