A global healthcare leader is seeking an Engineer - Process Development to optimize manufacturing processes in Cambridge, MA. This role focuses on developing biopolymer encapsulation systems and supporting platform development related to encapsulated cell therapies. Position: Engineer - Process Development (R1-R2)
This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes for our encapsulated cell therapy platform technology. Responsibilities include maintaining bioprocess production, developing process improvements, exploring innovations, setting up and maintaining biopolymer encapsulation systems, encapsulating cells in novel biopolymers, supporting platform development, cryopreservation, assay development, upscale production, and data analysis and presentation to multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field, with at least 1 year of experience in:

Compensation for this role is approximately $93,538, depending on experience and location. Full-time employees are eligible for bonuses and comprehensive benefits including 401(k), pension, health and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, leave benefits, and wellness programs.
