Position: Engineer - Process Development (R1-R2)

This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes for our encapsulated cell therapy platform technology. Responsibilities include maintaining bioprocess production, developing process improvements, exploring innovations, setting up and maintaining biopolymer encapsulation systems, encapsulating cells in novel biopolymers, supporting platform development, cryopreservation, assay development, upscale production, and data analysis and presentation to multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field, with at least 1 year of experience in:

• Cell culture, seeding, assays, sterile techniques
• Cell therapies, wet lab work, biomaterials
• Cell encapsulation in biopolymers
• Platform development, assay optimization, upscale production
• GMP qualification and risk assessment

Part-time telecommuting may be permitted.
