Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1 year of engineering experience, or Master’s with 0 years.
  • MES, MRP/SAP/Oracle or related experience.
  • Experience leading teams or projects.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Excel including macros and pivot tables.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Security Clearance and Special Program Access (PAR).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet objectives.
  • Ensure manufacturing schedules are integrated horizontally and vertically.
  • Implement scheduling best practices including EVMS, CPM, SRA and health metrics.
  • Analyze lead times, queue times, WIP, cycle times and throughput.
  • Build scalable models to optimize product flow within constraints.
  • Develop optimized scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP with executable plans.
  • Communicate planning requirements with IT, ERP, analytics and data science teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and agile method applications.

Due to the nature of this role, this position requires an on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.The Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Team is an integral part of day-to-day operations and routinely works alongside many of the other organizations.
