Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. in Indiana is seeking an experienced Engineer to manage facility-related projects including expansions, renovations, and equipment renewals.
You will support facility design, construction oversight, and ensure projects meet quality, cost, schedule, and safety KPIs. The role requires 5+ years in building design/construction, manufacturing plants experience, and PM capabilities.

Toyota’s Plant Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage facility-related projects (expansions, renovations, facility equipment renewals, etc.) at Toyota Indiana (TMMI). Reporting to the Manager – Plant Engineering, the person in this role will support the Facilities department's objective to provide project management, construction oversight, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule, and safety KPIs.
Offering technical support to projects at TMMI in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining building related standards. Developing criteria (architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil/structural, etc.) for design of buildings, trailer yards, and parking lots. Providing Subject Matter expertise for manufacturing plants and office buildings and building related systems as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management. Leveraging experience in pre-construction planning, project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs. Ensuring customer satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs. Developing internal standard operating procedures & shikumis (work instruction sheets) for the section.
