Job Description

Radiological Infrastructure Organization is seeking an Engineer of Radiological Work to join our team! The role is responsible to develop technical work documents that incorporate engineering controls (radiological, environmental, safety and industrial hygiene) necessary for directly supporting RIO's Operational groups to reduce and eliminate vulnerabilities across our site. The engineer will be trained as an Engineer of Radiological Work with duties that will be focused on D&D activities in radiological areas including radiological support equipment (ventilation, machinery, piping and characterization).

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering, science field; or Currently an Advanced Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Nuclear Engineering or Physics
• Experience in writing technical reports

Pay Range

$86,100.00 - $134,600.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
