Job summary

Perform the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of fuel, water and hygiene equipment and systems for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL). The MCPP-PHIL Engineer Utilities Mechanic reports to the Engineering Maintenance Supervisor and supports readiness of field equipment.

Key duties include executing maintenance actions, repairing and servicing systems, maintaining inventory, reviewing requisitions, and conforming to safety, ISO, and program policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or coursework towards a BS degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Four years of progressive experience with specialized knowledge of maintenance and logistic support activities involving hygiene systems maintenance.
• U.S. Citizen.
• U.S. Passport.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Permit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the performance of maintenance functions for MCPP-PHIL equipment and systems.
• Perform maintenance actions involving repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing fuel, water, and hygiene systems.
• Support equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, control of maintenance assets and provide advice on all matters relating to fuel, water, and hygiene systems maintenance.
• Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities; Maintain proficiency in all maintenance functions.
• Inventory repair parts and equipment and requisition replacement stock.
• Comply with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations; safety standards.
