Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Del Rio, TX, is seeking an Engineering Programs Leader to oversee production projects and coordinate engineer-to-shop-floor implementations.

The role requires collaboration with internal and external teams to close communication gaps and ensure training alignment. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and be eligible to work in the United States; PE, ISO/AS9100, NADCAP certifications are preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Manage all projects, work content, and programs for production.
• Function as the main support resource for Manufacturing regarding engineer programs into the shop floor.
• Work closely with internal and external people to identify and close communication and training gaps.
• Travel approximately 90% to Acuna, Mexico and 10% to Del Rio, Texas; support after-hours issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer, ISO/AS9100, and NADCAP certifications.
• PC skills, including a high proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
• Written & verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and initiative to develop the position's activities.
