Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Senior IT Security Engineer to design and lead enterprise IAM initiatives across hybrid cloud/on-prem environments. You will guide authentication strategies, implement CIAM, and collaborate with developers to embed secure access into portals, apps, and APIs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT security with IAM expertise, hands-on experience with OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and strong AD/LDAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT Security with deep expertise in IAM and CIAM technologies.
• Hands-on experience with authentication protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and token lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of Windows/Linux authentication, Active Directory, and LDAP.
• Experience with observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace for event analysis and system monitoring.
• Proven ability to lead IAM transformation initiatives and mentor cross-functional teams.

This position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week at one of our Corporate Office locations of Saint Petersburg, FL; Memphis, TN; or Southfield, MI.

What You’ll Own:

What You Bring:

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, MIS, or related field or equivalent experience.

• Certifications in IAM, IT Security, or related technologies are a plus.

• Comfortable working in high-impact, fast-paced environments with rotating on-call responsibilities.
