Job summary

DB Sterlin Consultants Inc. is seeking an Engineer Intern to support design projects for roadways, utilities, sewers, and bridges. You will assist in preparing schematics, models, and engineering calculations, while maintaining project schedules and quality standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of college in an accredited engineering program and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is a non-exempt hourly position with opportunities to participate in site and office work as

POSITION GOAL:The Engineer Intern will perform basic engineering duties associated with the construction, structural, or civil engineering projects for DB Sterlin. This individual will support all aspects of design projects for roadways, utilities, sewers, and bridges, prepare schematics and models, and perform analysis and engineering calculations. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds on occasion.Working Environment: A general office environment that may require periods of sitting at a computer. The environmental conditions generally include ambient inside temperature, lighting, and noise level. Due to the collaborative nature of this position and accessibility for in-house meetings, it is important that the work may need to be performed in the office and during normal business hours. Occasional outdoor work may also be required throughout the year.Continuing Education: Complete state-required competency.
