Job summary

Cognitioworld is seeking a motivated student intern in Texas to support manufacturing operations. You will audit and update work instructions, improve material handling, and learn lean problem solving using real-time tools.

You’ll contribute to continuous improvement, assist with layout design, and gain CAD/ERP experience, with extensive exposure to welding and fabrication. Requirements include a relevant Bachelor's degree track, a 3.0+ GPA, CAD skills, and familiarity with ERP systems like JD

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Experience in welding, machining, or fabrication.
• Exposure to cell or work center layout.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Exposure to Lean and 5S concepts.
• Working knowledge or exposure to ERP systems such as JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

About You

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $18.00 - $37.00 per hour, determined by role scope, experience, education, skills, and pay equity.
