DOTD-Engineering & Operations in Louisiana seeks an Environmental Engineer Intern to assist with investigations and analyses for environmental documents and related studies. The role supports compliance with state laws and DOTD policies, and requires certification as an Engineer Intern in Louisiana.

Section 28 - Environmental
This position performs investigations and environmental and engineering analyses as required for the preparation of environmental documents and related technical studies. While in official capacity, DOTD employees must comply with applicable Louisiana and Civil Service laws, rules, and regulations, as well as DOTD policies, procedures, manuals, and directives.
Possession of a current Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificate.
NOTE: Applications will be accepted from persons who possess a current Engineer Intern Certificate in states other than Louisiana. However, the applicant will be required to obtain a Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificate prior to appointment. The hiring agency will verify that all requirements are met.
NOTE: Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificates are issued by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board. Licensing requirements may be viewed at www.lapels.com.
