Position Overview

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Structural Engineer-in-Training 1 for our Austin, TX office.

Required Qualifications

• Possess EIT or able to obtain EIT within 1 year.
• Experience in concrete foundations and structural steel design.
• Experience with building and structural design using ASCE, ACI, AISC codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Substation or Power projects.
• Knowledge of government design standards such as UFC.
• Experience in Masonry, CFS, or Wood Design.
• Software proficiency: RISA, MFAD, LPILE, Mathcad.

Our Approach to Flexibility

While some members work full-time from the local office, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible roles: two days in the office, two days remote, and a flexible day on Friday, which can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles may also have a compressed workweek with a 9/80 schedule, providing every other Friday off.
