Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an entry-level Chemical Engineer in New York (Town of Aurora area). The role involves providing technical analysis, optimizing units, and supporting operations during plant shutdowns and start-ups.

Responsibilities include monitoring production metrics, assisting capital projects, and upholding safety/environmental programs. A 1–2 year background or co-op in chemical engineering is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Entry-level Chemical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience and/or student Co-Op engineering experience.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and process simulation skills is an asset.
