The Engineer in Training (EIT) will support civil engineering and site design projects as part of an integrated team of landscape architects and planners. This full-time, on-site role in Garden City, ID involves assisting with preparation of engineering plans, drawings, and technical documents, including grading, drainage, utility layout, and site infrastructure design. The EIT will perform calculations, support design reports, and help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and design staff, reviewing project data and survey information, and contributing to multidisciplinary solutions for commercial, industrial, civic, educational, and residential developments. The EIT will also participate in project meetings, communicate with internal and external stakeholders as directed, and help maintain quality control and project documentation throughout the design process.
