Engineer – Imaging & Diagnostics, Corning, NY (Sullivan Park).
This onsite role works Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week with flexibility as needed. Relocation assistance is provided. The position includes travel up to 50% on average annually, primarily domestic with occasional international travel.
For engineers who want more variety, hands‑on problem solving, and exposure, this position offers the opportunity to use imaging, optics, sensors, and custom diagnostic systems to understand how processes behave and why issues occur. The team supports work in both laboratory and manufacturing environments, helping Corning improve processes, troubleshoot problems, and advance new technologies across multiple businesses and stages of innovation. It is a strong fit for someone with a background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, measurements, instrumentation, imaging, optics, automation, or experimental systems.

Salary range: $69,279.00 - $95,259.00. Starting pay depends on job‑related factors including geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
