Job summary

Yokogawa in Newnan, GA is seeking a seasoned automation engineer to design, configure, test and document DCS and batch automation applications, building robust control strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial automation or control systems experience.
• Experience with DCS platforms and process manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of ISA-88 batch automation principles.
• Experience with system testing, commissioning, and startup support.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with one or more major DCS platforms (e.g., Emerson, Honeywell, ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Yokogawa, or similar).
• Knowledge of industrial networking, MES, historians, or manufacturing systems integration.
