RWE Americas, LLC is seeking an Engineer II, Wind Operations to join our onshore wind fleet in the Americas. This hands-on engineer will drive commissioning through steady-state operations, diagnose issues, and lead root-cause investigations to improve asset performance.
You will work across electrical, mechanical, and control systems, coordinating with Asset Management, O&M, and Project teams to standardize practices and elevate reliability. Strong problem-solving and leadership are essential.

We are seeking a highly driven Engineer II, Wind Operations with a strong commissioning and field troubleshooting background to support our growing onshore wind fleet across the Americas. This role is ideal for a hands‑on turbine generalist who thrives in solving complex technical challenges, improving fleet reliability, and working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and field execution.
You will play a critical role from post‑construction commissioning through long‑term operations, leveraging your expertise to diagnose issues, lead root cause investigations, and implement solutions that directly impact asset performance and availability.

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California, New York City, or Illinois is $118,000 - $148,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
