Qualifications

We trust our employees to bring bold ideas to build the future of aerospace together. In the role of Engineer II, you\'ll play a pivotal part on our Engineering Department team. This position contributes to our vision by reviewing and analyzing the system and equipment design for its reliability, maintainability and safety per SAE ARP4761; performing functional hazard assessment (FHA), preliminary system safety assessment (PSSA) and system safety assessment (SSA); creating system reliability reports (SRR) using fault tree analysis (FTA) and common cause analysis (CCA) and common mode analysis (CMA); preparing system maintainability report; conducting equipment reliability prediction, FMEA and FTA; conducting equipment maintenance cost and maintenance task analysis; and reliability demonstration reports by product engineers. RMS Engineer II is responsible for reviewing and analyzing the system and equipment design for its safety, reliability and maintainability as established in specifications and/or contractual obligations. The RMS Engineer II collects supporting data using industry handbooks and guidelines. Analyses include system dispatch and availability, equipment basic reliability and FMEA predictions, maintainability estimates for maintenance cost and maintenance tasks analysis. The RMS Engineer II is responsible for RMS related documentation required for design reviews.

  • Preparing Piece Part Failure Modes and Effects and Criticality Analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Summary per MIL-STD-1629A and D6-56674
  • Preparing Engineering Reliability Parts Prediction Count Reports (ERPPC)
  • Reviewing and analyzing the system and equipment design for safety, reliability and maintainability as per specifications and contractual obligations
  • Collecting supporting data for analyses; maintaining RMS related documentation for design reviews
