Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with GPA 3.0 or higher.
  • 2 years of engineering experience or an advanced degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry and gas turbine compressor knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets, tracks progress, resolves problems, develops solutions, and forecasts project revenue.
  • Coordinates with other functional organizations.
  • Identifies and addresses project problems, analyzes data gathered, and develops solutions and recommendations to solve problems, meet deadlines and optimize performance.
  • Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Tracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Supports in the preparation of status and technical content to CIPT and upper Pratt & Whitney management.
  • Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work.
  • Work closely with IPT members and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements.
  • Supports engineering change execution.
  • Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
  • Support in the execution of risks assessments and mitigation plans.
  • Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Support military budget EVMS activities & support project management activities.
  • Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
  • Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE tools and support AS9100 efforts.
  • Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.

What You Will Do

Travel and Working Hours

Travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 2 years of experience in engineering or an Advanced degree in Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.



  • Experience working in the Aerospace Industry

  • Previous gas turbine compressor experience

  • Experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project or other scheduling software
