Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, quality, and safety on the production floor.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and cost-reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure product quality and equipment reliability.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Create and implement capital requests for new equipment needs.

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in production. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine production systems, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and cost-reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure product quality and equipment reliability.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Create and implement capital requests for new equipment needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Systems analysis experience a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
