The System Protection Engineer II is responsible for specifying, designing, and implementing protection schemes for the transmission system and substations. This role involves complex engineering design, system modifications, and providing economic and analytical support for projects and programs.
Under general guidance, the Engineer II applies advanced engineering methods to develop solutions and ensure system reliability. The role may also include providing limited technical guidance to junior engineers and participating in on-call support for system troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Approved Degrees: Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Math, Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, Environmental, Chemical, Architectural, Structural. Note: A Bachelor of Engineering Technology is not automatically equivalent to a B.S. in Engineering.
