Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) seeks a technical engineer to provide oversight for DoD ammunition production programs, supporting capture, production, ballistic test validation, and continuous improvement to ensure on-schedule delivery and compliance with contractual requirements.

You will apply advanced engineering theories and methods to investigate and solve complex technical problems, design and analyze systems, and contribute to field activities and project management.

Qualifications

Associate's degree and 2-4 years' experience required.
Engineering degree required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.
Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.
Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects.
Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
