Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Appleton, WI is seeking an Engineer II / Checker / Data Integrity to review interior furnishings designs for new aircraft. The role focuses on ensuring designs meet standards and integrates with AutoCAD and CATIA V5 workflows.
You will work under the Structural/Mechanical Engineering Lead to meet milestones, applying rigorous engineering practices and providing technical support across the team. This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Appleton.
This is a Data Integrity engineering position (Checker) in the Structural/Mechanical department for Completions Engineering. Responsibilities primarily involve reviewing engineering designs of new and derivative versions of interior furnishings and amenities as part of outfitting new aircraft. Examples include custom cabinetry such as galleys, lavatories, closets, storage compartments, interior peripheries, water/waste systems, entertainment equipment installations, and seating installations. The Data Integrity Engineer will review design work created using AutoCAD and CATIA V5 and will ensure designs are consistent with company standards and accepted design methods. Assignments are executed under the direction of the Structural/Mechanical Engineering Lead engineer or Group Head to meet the manufacturing schedule. Required: Catia V5 and AutoCAD experience
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 18 months related Engineering experience. Experience credit will be considered for related advance degrees limited to 2 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD in field applicable to the job position.
Performs engineering work related to the investigation and the solution of technical problems associated with research, design, development, service and manufacture of Gulfstream aircraft.
Perform other duties as assigned.
