We are responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and validating engineering change orders, while leading cross-functional teams to implement these changes effectively. Working closely with various plant personnel, from assembly staff to senior management, we facilitate the smooth introduction of engineering changes into production. By maintaining a detailed change information database and providing technical support, we ensure that changes are executed accurately and on time, while consistently monitoring and reporting progress throughout the process.
What you can look forward to as a Change Control Engineer
- Manage and validate Engineering Changes (Engineering Change Requests / Engineering Change Orders), deviations, and change control documentation to ensure accurate and controlled implementation.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional engineering change implementation across manufacturing, quality, production, and engineering teams.
- Analyze technical issues impacting change implementation and provide detailed engineering support, documentation, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and control engineering changes from request initiation through release, implementation, and closure verification.
- Develop and maintain change management databases, reporting tools, and workflow processes to improve traceability and efficiency.
- Perform data analysis and generate technical reports to track engineering change status, implementation progress, and process effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering change management process, reducing implementation delays and increasing process reliability.
- Ensure compliance with R&D design standards, engineering specifications, and IATF 16949 quality requirements throughout the change control process.
Your Profile as a Change Control Engineer
- .S. in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Business Administration or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in engineering or production improvement / implementation in a manufacturing environment with strong product knowledge
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills /Good verbal and written communication skills/ Able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Superior interpersonal, communications and listening skills
- Proficient with MS word, excel, power BI (nice to have)
