Enbridge Inc. is seeking an Engineer II for our Cary, NC team. The role involves progressively challenging engineering tasks, applying established principles, and expanding knowledge of Enbridge’s methods and practices.
You will manage increasing scope, communicate technical information clearly, and guide junior engineers as needed. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil or mechanical preferred) and 2–4 years of experience.

Office environment. Occasional travel (<5%). Ability to travel and work throughout United States. A valid driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light to moderate lifting of objects up to 20 pounds, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirements including the ability to see screens, detect color coding and read fine print, hearing requirements, and the ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; understand complex problems and collaborate to explore alternative solutions; organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology; organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term basis; make decisions that have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impacts outside this area; understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines; complete routine forms; compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports; and communicate with individuals by telephone.
Salary: Ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 USD for U.S. locations based upon the candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
