Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Customization Engineer to bridge customer needs with technical solutions. In this role, you will engage with customers, utilize 3D CAD software, and manage interdepartmental collaborations for product customization.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 2-3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in CAD tools like Inventor or Solidworks. Strong communication skills and project management experience are essential. The job may involve occasional travel.
In this role, the engineer translates customer needs into technical solutions, often involving modifications to existing products or systems. Interact with customers to gain a clear understanding of the project requirements, work with 3D CAD software, create technical documentation, and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful implementation and manufacturing. Key responsibilities include managing customer relationships, performing design calculations, conducting verification testing, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, supporting quotation process and navigating projects through the engineering change process.
Has Direct Reports: No. This role functions between the customer and nearly all internal departments. The role has regular internal Parker contacts with cross‑functional teams and frequent customer interface.
