Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking an Engineer II in Clearwater, FL for a 3-month contract with potential extension. The role requires excellent customer service, communication, conflict resolution, and engineering/lineman experience, with design and distribution knowledge.

Candidates should be familiar with Maximo, ARGUS, and DesignLite/BOUD. This is a W2 contract with no PTO or benefits; ACA-compliant supplemental package available.

Job description

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Engineer II with our large power and utilities client in Clearwater, FL. This is a 3-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Requirements:

• Needs great customer service, communication and conflict resolution skills. Will be dealing with some difficult customers and hard conversations in this role
• Needs distribution design experience and standards knowledge
• Someone who already works with software like Maximo, ARGUS and DesignLite/BOUD
• Engineering or Lineman experience
• Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of routine problems in area of expertise.
• Assists in the accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities under the guidance of higher-level employees.
• Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches associated with the resolution of routine technical problems.
• Conducts basic engineering studies requiring little evaluation or ingenuity.
• Possesses knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures.
• Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Maintains accurate records and files.
• Supports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionally.
• They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied.
• ≥ 5 years discipline experience
