Donaldson Company is seeking an Engineer II for the Bloomington, MN area to support the Current Products Engineering team. You will design, develop, and test industrial dust, mist, and fume collectors while collaborating with manufacturing plants and CAD designers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience, with preferred familiarity in Teamcenter, NX, SolidWorks, and RISA. This is a hybrid position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil/Structural preferred).
• 3+ years of related professional experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with fabricated metal products and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of electrical controls and design considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain products through engineering and filtration principles.
• Implement value added solutions such as new technologies, cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and assigned tasks.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing partners at plants, suppliers, and CAD designers.
• Utilize CAE systems to evaluate designs.
• Prepare and present technical results and information in drawings, specifications, reports, and oral presentations.
• Product testing, test setup, data analytics.
