Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Engineer I to join the Structural Steel Services team. You will provide specifications, repair designs, technical documents, and field support to maximize service value for steel structures.

Under supervision, you will perform analyses, calculations, and reports, with occasional travel. The role is on-site full-time at our downtown Atlanta location, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with Civil/Structural focus.
• 1-2 years in analysis/design of structural steel or reinforced concrete.
• FE exam completed and EIT certification.
• Willingness to travel 0–20% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and calculations for steel and reinforced concrete.
• Assist planning for restoration, strengthening, and corrosion control.
• Support structure inspections and field work per contract requirements.
• Prepare engineering assessments, reports, and technical documents.
• Review field data for accuracy and provide QA for projects.
• Interact with customers by phone, email, and web to support goals.
• Support Pilot and R&D by data analysis and field data collection.
