Job summary

ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules in Duncan, SC is seeking an Engineer I - Manufacturing to help develop assembly concepts and support production line launches. You will work on Work Plans, Investment Plans, line layouts, and project timing to improve efficiency.

The role requires a B.E. in engineering, 2+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency with CAD/SAP. Travel may be needed; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Good mechanical and technical skills.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, CAD, and SAP.
• Strong time management and prioritizing abilities.
• Willingness to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop assembly concepts in consideration of ZF Chassis Module Systems (Work Plan / Investment Plan / Assembly Line Layout / Project Timing).
• Support in acquisition projects for the production area.
• Prepare RFQ for equipment suppliers and manage integration.
• Support launch & commissioning of new assembly equipment / new products.
• Prepare PFMEAs, value stream & standard work instructions.
• Serve as liaison with the customer for interpretation and development of new solutions.
