CPL is seeking an Engineer I - Infrastructure in New York to coordinate multidisciplinary teams on municipal, industrial and commercial projects, blending natural environments with built infrastructure. You will mentor junior staff and develop designs for sanitary pump stations, site layouts, and stormwater systems.
Reporting to a Project Manager, you will manage documents, oversee project design, and contribute to client meetings while ensuring quality and adherence to budget and schedule.

Reporting to a Project Manager or Principal, the Engineer I develops meaningful designs for various civil and site engineering projects. Whether you’re tackling solutions for sanitary pump stations, assessing site layouts, or producing cost estimates for new stormwater management systems, you always remain focused on meeting client needs and mentoring junior team members. In this position, you are moderately independent and work on projects of small to moderate size and complexity.
The rate for this position generally ranges between $90k-115k annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
