ENSTAR Natural Gas is seeking an Engineer I to join our Engineering team in Alaska. The role supports design, construction, operation, and maintenance of gas distribution and transmission systems, while providing engineering analysis, project management, and technical support.

The team emphasizes collaboration, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement as we plan long-term infrastructure. Bachelor's in engineering and strong communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• EIT designation preferred; PE license optional.
• Strong communication and analytical skills required.
• Experience with design, analysis, and project management a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate natural gas distribution and transmission facilities.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Manage projects through planning, design, construction, and closeout.
• Coordinate with contractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
