ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

Apply analytical skills to develop simple to complex piping networks using industry and client standards and software.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize client-preferred design suites to create project documents such as ArcGIS Maps, piping network diagrams, and process simulation bases, including usage data.
  • Develop hydraulic network models by integrating various types of information.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineers, Designers, and Drafters, effectively communicating complex ideas for prompt resolution.
  • Support model development and validation tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to ensure work products meet company, industry, and client standards.
  • Capable of independently resolving data anomalies and errors.
  • Professionalism in the work environment.
  • Pay range varies from $23/hr. to $38/hr., depending on experience and software proficiency.
  • Knowledge of GIS databases.

DESIRED SOFTWARE SKILLS:

  • ArcGIS Software
  • AutoCAD Drafting (1+ year experience)
  • Synergi or equivalent hydraulic software
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to move frequently inside the office, remain stationary for extended periods, operate a computer and other office equipment, work outdoors in varying temperatures, and lift items up to 25 lbs.
