Job summary

ElDorado National California Inc. (ENC) seeks an Electrical Engineer I in Riverside, CA. The role supports design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems in ENC’s product lines with hands-on prototyping and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work with senior engineers to develop wiring diagrams, select components, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • 0–2 years of relevant internship or industry experience
  • Basic knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit theory, and wiring standards.
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation.
  • Willingness to learn and apply engineering best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of low-voltage electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and control circuits.
  • Create and revise electrical schematics, layout drawings, and documentation in CAD software.
  • Assist in the selection of electrical components based on performance, cost, and availability.
  • Perform functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in vehicles or test benches.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and service teams to address electrical design issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards (e.g., SAE, NFPA), and customer requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document engineering activities and maintain accurate records in engineering databases.

Electrical Engineer I

Location:Riverside, CA
Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000/yr.

Position Summary

Supports the design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems within ENC’s product lines. This entry-level engineering role assists senior engineers in developing wiring diagrams, selecting components, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. The role involves hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in production and manufacturing environments.

This is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA and requires being onsite.
