Western Alliance Bank is seeking an Engineer I for the AI Forward Engineer team. The role blends coaching, strategy, and hands-on prototyping to accelerate AI adoption across banking processes.
You will work with business users and engineers to identify inefficiencies, build PoCs with Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, and Azure, and translate needs into practical AI solutions that deliver measurable value.

The AI Business Engineer is a hybrid coach, thinker, and hands‑on innovator within the AI Forward Engineering team. The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate for AI, someone who thrives on coaching & empowering non‑technical users, uncovering hidden inefficiencies, and unlocking new levels of productivity through intelligent automation - someone who can ignite curiosity, inspire change, and empower others to embrace AI with confidence. The AI Business Engineer will serve as the eyes and ears on the ground, identifying untapped opportunities for AI‑driven transformation, and champion ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, bringing them forward to the Leads and/ or AI Council for prioritization and execution. Continuous learning, understanding banking processes, and rapidly prototyping AI solutions to showcase business value are essential. Assist in the design and development of engineering projects.
