Job summary

Skechers USA Ltd. is seeking a QA tester to support testing across Retail POS and planning systems. You will design and execute test plans, perform end-to-end testing, and maintain automation for new POS features.

The role requires collaboration with Global teams and a strong background in retail POS ecosystems. Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in manual and automated testing, experience with Oracle XSTORE or Aptos, and strong SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of manual and automated testing experience.
• 3–5 years QA/testing with Retail POS systems.
• Hands-on experience with Retail POS platforms (Oracle XSTORE, Aptos).
• Knowledge of MySQL/SQL/Postgres or equivalent DDL.
• Experience with JIRA, Service Now, Zephyr or similar ticketing tools.
• Experience in test planning, estimating, scheduling and reporting.
• Experience with UAT is a plus and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, review requirements, develop and execute test plans and scripts for Retail Merchandising (O9) and related apps.
• Create, maintain and upgrade test artifacts and analyze test results.
• Perform functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing of POS and related systems.
• Update automation for new features and review automation results for defects.
• Test integrations between POS and planning tools and validate data flows.
• Collaborate with Retail Planning to validate KPI calculations at the POS level.
• Log defects clearly, track them to closure, and publish daily defect reports.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide QA estimates for stories.

Skechers is undergoing a major retail transformation, implementing new retail platforms and systems across multiple countries. We're seeking a skilled professional to join our IT team and support our testing initiatives across various retail technologies.What You'll DoDesign, review requirements , develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Retail Merchandising (O9) and related retail applicationsCreate, maintain, and upgrade test plans, test scripts as well as analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports.Perform all testing activities including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) system/other IT systems for our global locations.Update and maintain the automation for new features on POS or other Retail Systems. Review Automation results and log/follow up on defects.Test integrations between POS systems and retail planning tools (e.g., demand forecasting, open-to-buy, financial planning).Validate accuracy of data flows between POS and planning modules including sales actuals, inventory positions, and sell-through reporting.Collaborate with the Retail Planning team to validate KPI calculations and reporting metrics at the POS level.Validate allocation logic and rules engine within POS-connected systems to ensure correct inventory distribution across stores.Test automated replenishment triggers based on POS sales data and stock threshold parameters.Identify, isolate, regress and communicate bugs effectively and efficiently.Log defects in a detailed, understandable, and reproducible way.Track all assigned defects through closure.Generate and publish daily defect reports from Test/Defect Management Tool.Work with the team in an Agile/Scrum environment.Actively participate in Scrum meetings and provide QA estimate to calculate Story Points during planning phase.Publish daily status reports or help update existing reports.Ensure that all regression and daily testing activities required by the Retail POS team are completed in a timely fashion.Track testing metrics like test coverage, defect densities and open defect counts.This position is not remote and will require a regular commute to the office.
