Job Title: Engineer/HVAC Mechanic (FDIC)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking an Engineer/HVAC Mechanic in Arlington, VA. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. The scheduled hours are: 11:00pm - 7:00am

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a routine and ongoing assessment of the building systems operations.
  • Perform tests, tours, and analyze data to assure the proper operation of building machinery.
  • Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment, machinery, and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess or obtain a current CFC Universal License.
  • Must have 3 – 6 years of experience as a Building Engineer in a commercial environment.
  • Must have EMS experience.
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
  • Must be able to work safely.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company policies.

Physical Demands:

  • Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
