KPMG is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our Tax Ignition Team. This is a hybrid work opportunity out of our Denver, CO or Montvale, NJ location.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product owners and data scientists to translate business needs into AI‑powered features and APIs
  • Assist in building and maintaining client-facing web apps using Angular + TypeScript, Python, or .NET Framework/C# backend services and APIs, and secure SQL databases (T-SQL, schema design, stored procedures)
  • Leverage Azure services (App Services, Functions, SQL Database, DevOps) for deployment, scaling and monitoring
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI services (such as Azure OpenAI, Custom Models Serving) into our front‑end and back‑end systems
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in software development
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering or related field is preferred; Master's degree from an accredited college or university is desired
  • Fundamental understanding of software engineering such as microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization
  • Experience building enterprise systems using Python, .NET, C#, Angular, SQL and Azure is preferred
  • Familiarity with Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn) is preferred with strong communication and analytical skills
