Job summary

AEG is seeking an Engineer for the L.A. LIVE venue in Los Angeles, California. The role entails safely operating, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, and HVAC.

The successful candidate will have previous engineering experience, be able to lift up to 50lbs, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

• Physically capable of lifting/carrying/pulling/pushing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 6 hours.

Position Summary

The L.A. LIVE- Engineer will in a safe and efficient manner, operates and maintains, repairs boilers, chillers, refrigeration equipment, generators, air-conditioning equipment. Inspects, maintains, and repairs mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping and plumbing systems, fixtures within guidelines of State, County or City Ordinances, Codes or Laws.

Essential Functions

• Repairs boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, etc.
• Maintains and repairs all mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping, plumbing, etc.
• Repair toilets, lights, fixtures etc.
• Assist with event setup.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a High school or G.E.D. Equivalent.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time of up to 6 hours with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to lift/carry/pull/push up to 50lbs.
• Must have previous engineering experience with active certifications.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be willing to join Local 501 Union.

Pay Scale

$50.00- $54.33
