Job summary

HyAxiom, the hydrogen business pillar of Doosan Group, seeks a Facilities Leader to guide maintenance and engineering for equipment, machinery, and buildings used in fuel cell manufacture and assembly. You will provide hands-on direction, collaborate with contractors, and ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Education paths include BA/BS with 2–5+ years or MA/MS with 0–2+ years, plus trades experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 2–5+ years of experience in facilities/manufacturing.
• MA/MS degree with 0–2+ years of experience is acceptable.
• Trades training and certifications are a plus.
• Experience with third-party contractors to ensure work meets HyAxiom standards.
• Experience leading multiple technical trades projects and tasks including mechanical, electrical and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Facilities group with focus on troubleshooting, code interpretations, safety and on-time, on-cost task and project completion.
• Set high expectations and goals, encouraging others to excel in on-time performance and quality delivery of tasks and services.
• Weigh the pros and cons of various alternatives.
• Advance knowledge in facilities through cross-functional contributions.
• Balance multiple projects with varying complexity and priority without jeopardizing any project.
• Determine when contract services are essential to meet business needs.
• Respond to facility and maintenance emergencies (weather, outages, HVAC, equipment failures).
• Perform tasks to maximize successful completion on time and on cost.

Job Information

Direction and support of the planning, design, configuration, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures and other facilities. Provide technical and hands-on direction and performance of predictive and preventive maintenance, upkeep and repair of equipment and infrastructure used for fuel cell manufacture and assembly. Collaborate with other employees, both hourly and salaried, supporting a variety of plant service functions and building and equipment maintenance. Provide cross-functional guidance and expertise with a spectrum of engineering disciplines, department managers, and hourly maintenance and manufacturing employees. Responsible for communication and coordination with external electrical and mechanical contractors as required for specific facility and equipment needs.
