Job summary

TYLin Buildings in New York City is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our NYC office. The role involves structural design and analysis for a range of buildings, with responsibilities from concept through construction, and requires collaboration with project teams. You will assist in drawings, site investigations, and field reviews.

A Bachelor’s in Civil/Architectural Engineering is required; an M.S. is a plus, and EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structures focus preferred).
• Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in commercial, institutional, or residential projects.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
• Familiarity with RISA, SAP, RAM preferred.
• Client focused and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structures for diverse buildings, including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and legacy systems.
