Aerospace Engineer - Pyrotechnics & Energetics Seeking an experienced Energetics Engineer with subject matter expertise in the development and qualification of aerospace-related pyrotechnic and energetic components such as gas generators, initiators, and igniters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product requirements and technical specifications;manage verification activities throughout the product life cycle.
• Interpret and apply relevant government regulations, standards, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the design, analysis, and manufacturing of energetic components and propellants.
• Plan, execute, and analyze qualification and development tests for energetic systems.
• Prepare, document, and present test plans, technical reports, and data summaries to key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the development and qualification of energetic components.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.G., Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems or Project Management).
• Solid understanding of Requirements Verification and Validation (RV&V) processes.
• Proficient organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-resolution skills.
• Strong technical writing capabilities and proficiency in preparing documentation and reports.
• Familiarity with ammunition and explosive certification processes and related regulatory environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required.
• Candidates selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
