Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced journeyman electrician to support our maintenance team. The role requires running conduit, pulling wire, reading blueprints, and performing electrical installations across commercial and industrial settings.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience with low to medium voltage, proficiency with testing equipment, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Five years of commercial/industrial or journeyman electrical experience.
• Five years’ experience with low to medium voltage.
• Experience reading blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Experience with industrial hand tools and power tools, testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Run and bend conduit, size and pull wire.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, motor controls, lighting, dimming, and UPS.
• Read and understand blueprints and wiring schematics for installations.
• Operate scissor lift and climb ladders to access ceilings/catwalks.
• Drive/operate company vehicles around Treasure Island.
• Perform daily pool and spa readings, calibrations, and checks.

Job description

• Run and bend conduit as well as size and pull wire.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, motor controls, lighting and dimming systems and UPS systems.
• Operate scissor lift.
• Climb ladders to access elevated areas such as ceilings and catwalks.
• Work with 12 volts to 12,470-volt electricity.
• Read and understand blue prints and wiring schematic to install and work on electrical components.
• Drive/operate company vehicles to around Treasure Island.
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
• properly perform daily pool and spa readings, calibrations, and checks.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of commercial and industrial or journeyman electrical experience required.
• A minimum of five years’ experience working with low to medium voltage necessary.
• Experience working with blue prints and wiring schematics a must.
• Must have experience working with industrial hand tools, power tools, testing and monitoring equipment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
