The EHS Industrial Engineer is an engineering role responsible for supporting measurable improvements in equipment, process, and facility safety through engineering design, modification, and structured continuous improvement initiatives within the foundry.
This position partners closely with the Healthy & Safety Manager, Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and UAW‑represented employees to identify hazards, co‑lead incident investigations, design and implement sustainable engineering and systemic solutions that reduce risk and improve workplace safety. The role is intentionally focused on prevention through engineering controls, safe design, and disciplined execution of improvement projects.
