Job summary

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving scrap reduction, cost improvement, and process quality initiatives.
  • Experience planning and leading internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing inspection methods, quality systems, and process controls.
  • Proficiency in quality documentation, corrective action systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and quality data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the plant quality strategy to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage all manufacturing quality personnel, providing direction, coaching, development, and performance management.

  • Own and manage the plant scrap KPI, establishing targets, monitoring performance, and leading scrap reduction initiatives to improve cost, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa techniques.
  • Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to monitor process capability and manufacturing performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Quality Control Plans to ensure product and process quality requirements are consistently achieved.
  • Lead the development, review, and maintenance of Process FMEAs (PFMEA) and support cross-functional risk assessment activities.
  • Maintain and improve quality documentation systems, procedures, work instructions, inspection records, and quality metrics.
  • Analyze quality performance data and establish action plans to address trends, defects, customer complaints, and process variation.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and applicable automotive quality management system requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, process capability enhancement, and overall operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities
